Feeling Thankful...

Once again, thanks to everyone for signing up for the Stocking Full O' Cheer swap. I can't wait to match up all the amazing swappers we have! Sign-ups are until November 3, next Monday. Partners will go out Tuesday after the kids and I get back from the polls!

I have had so much fun making this banner. Last week I picked up some Amy Butler Scrapbooking paper with no idea what to use it for. Then I ran across a ton of Holiday magazines. Martha, BH&G, the whole nine yards. I am addicted to these kinds of magazines. I can't pass one up. The BH&G one had this cute Joy banner in it. Of course, I cut my circles the wrong size, but I put them on the front instead of behind the rosettes, and added my glittey chipboard letters. I kinda like my messed up way better :)

Brice asked why "thankful"? I said partly because of Thanksgiving, partly because of the way I am feeling lately. After the hell that was the beginning of the year, it seems I have been blessed with a fairly smooth second part. It's nice, and I am enjoying it :)

Wanna Swap?

I've been thinking about this for a while now :) I'd like to host a swap on my blog. But, not just any swap-a  Christmas swap. My favorite time of the year!! I'd like to do a filled stocking swap. The stocking needs to be handmade. I'll list some free templates tomorrow. Fill it up with decorations, ornaments, small gifts, or crafting supplies.  At least some of these need to be handmade. To keep it honest to join you need to have a blog that you update regularly where I can keep tabs on ya :)

The girls have a horrible cold, and little Kel has a horrible ear infection. I think we will just cuddle on the couch today. Thank God for fall break :)

I hate being sick!

Ugh, so like the past 2 days I have had this horrible cold thing going on. Usually, I can soldier through stuff like this, but this one's kicking my butt. The other night I had a horrible sudafed induced dream that my necklace was choking me. I ripped it off in my dream. The next morning, there it is, broken! Then the sudafed interfered with the last 30 minutes of Fringe, and admittedly the first 30 minutes are kinda fuzzy. I am feeling much better today and am staying far away from the sudafed.

I managed to finish 3 more stockings today. Thank you so much Dad, for taking the little one to see the chickens :) Now available in the shop!

I also wanted to blog about the fabulous Dianna from Custom Couture Label Company. She did my hangtags, business cards, and labels. She did a fantastic job. Just look:

I also wanted to share a little something that I found a few weeks back. We went to a ginormous neighborhood yard sale about a month back with some friends of ours. My friend Miranda said she had a good feeling about a particular sale, so we went. Look what I found!

I still haven't gotten all my San Diego pics off my hubby's computer-so I have to put off that post again! It seems like I am just now catching up after the trip. It took a full week for my time to get back to normal!
