Picture-Palooza aka I REALLY MADE ALL THIS!!

Hey peoples! I have just had the most productive weekend! Seriously, if I wasn't hanging with the family or something along those lines-I have been crafting. I have made garlands, swap stuff, bags, CDs, and ornaments and I couldn't wait to share it with all you :)

First up are three Tanglewood bags. This is such a great, quick pattern. It's perfect for all the ladies on your list. The first 2 are gifts, but the third is mine. I needed a little something to reward myself for productivity, you know?

I used Amy Butler's Daisy Chain charm pack from here. One pack made three bags. I used linen for the back and handles and a chocolate dot for the lining.

Next, I made six of these little guys for Amy at Life in the Lyons Den's ornament swap.

I glued to wooden knobs together and then painted, glittered, and sealed them. Then I crocheted them little hats and braided little scarves for them. I sent them off today.

I also made some decoupage notebooks and glittery garlands for a couple of other swaps.

Then I made ten ornaments for the store. I love how these turned out. I love birds, so I thought I would share the love :) I won't subject you to all 10 pictures. You can see them in the shop or on flickr. This one is my favorite:

We had a fantastic weekend. We ended up taking the kiddos on an impromptu trip to the "big city". We went to Build-a-Bear and had pics made with Santa. Brice generously allowed me to browse Michaels and a scrapbooking store while he watched the children. Oh, and it sleeted while we were there! Very unusual for Tennessee. Maybe I'll get a big snow this year!

Swappers-please let me know that you have received your partners. Some of my e-mails seem to be going to spam folders. How's everyone coming along. I am almost finished with both mine.

Exahusted..

but the good kind. The kind that denotes getting things done. I have been incredibly busy with the shop, swaps, and house lately. Throw 2 wild young 'uns in the mix and there goes my sanity. I have so much stuff that is *almost* done, but not quite. Prepare yourselves to be swimming in pictures over the next few posts, but not yet.

I did make this "Believe" banner for the shop. This is a fairly small banner and perfect for kids' rooms. I thought the sentiment to be exactly what I wanted. Believe in Santa, yourself, that you can get it all done, God. Whatever you believe in this Holiday season, this banner will signify it.

My new "Peace" garland. I don't think I could've wrote a better description than Amy over at the b-line who featured it on her blog today. I also have some more exciting news to share later this week. Sadly, I am short on time today, but I will leave ya'll with some beautiful fall foliage pics. The leaves are just now turning and falling down here :)

Paper is so soothing...

I just can't put it down lately. Last night while watching election returns, I couldn't get the idea of a house garland out of my head. So-I drew up a pattern and got to work.

I used these sweet vintage-themed papers and some glittered chipboard letters.

Isn't that Santa one awesome?

It can be hung with this sweet satin ribbon. Available in the shop!

I also want to congratulate Barack Obama on his presidential win. I guess it's safe to say I didn't vote for him (no flames please) But that's my opinion. I do pray for his guidance and safety in leading this country. It was awe-inspiring watching history being made :)

While dreams of sugarplums...

dance their way through my head :) I'm already in such a Christmas-y mood, it's taking all the willpower I have not to get decorations from the attic :) I want to thank all of you who joined the Stocking Full O' Cheer swap. There ended up being 37 swappers! I can't wait to see what ya'll come up with because all of you are some amazing crafters!

The girls hung out with Paw-Paw today so I got some things done:

I'm not a huge fan of cartoon characters on clothes but something about Hello Kitty always draws me in :)

I wanted to share a Christmas tradition in my etsy shop. Every year I make the girls new jammies to wear on Christmas Eve. It's good for pictures and a nice little gift to tide them over until all the other gifts arrive. This little peasant top look sweet on girls of any age.

It has ric rac accents,

as well as ruffles at the neckline and wrist. It also has the sweetest velvet bow on the front.

It's also available in 2 other fabric choices pictured in the listing. I hope to get more flannel soon :)

I also got new ornaments from Martha this weekend. Brice said if he didn't know better he'd try to eat these.

And I just love these :)
