The past week I have been plagued with an abscessed tooth. WORST. PAIN. EVER! i am behind on answering e-mails and will get it done soon. I promise.
Before the tooth pain got excruciating, I managed to do a few things. I attended honors day for Paige.
She got a trophy for being on the Principal's list (all A's) and a medal for being in the top 10 accelerated readers points. This mama was about to burst with pride! Her daddy now owes her a new bike, the result of a promise extracted from him when he was half asleep. When we picked her up from her classroom, she looked at him and said, "Pay up."
I also tried this dress from Sew Hip magazine.
So easy and so cute! P wore it to church Sunday and it looked so warm and summery.

I got the patten for the strawberry pattern online, but can't for the life of me find it.
Last, but not least, I managed to finish my Monday Mini. The pics are a day late, but, my dentist worked me in for an early root canal. After the pain of the weekend, I was almost gleeful to go.
The sun has finally started shining around here again, and the footings on our new house are going to be dug tomorrow! Yay! I think I am going to take some embroidery and some coffee and go outside to enjoy it right now!

Ouch! Toothaches are the worst. glad you are feeling better. Love the dress. Congratulations on the Straight A student in your house! What an accomplishment.

ouch ouch ouch. I had an abscessed tooth once - I thought my head was going to explode.
Congratulations on your little genius baby - I bet you were bursting with pride. I bet she was too!
The dress is wonderful - I love the fabrics you used, so fresh and zingy.

on no.. poor you and your poorly tooth.. brilliant news about Paige.. especially the bit about the promise of a bike, fantastic! Kids are such sly and conniving little creatures, I know Harrison is.
