Thank ya'll so much for all the well wishes and sweet comments. Miss Finley and I are still doing great and she has integrated so well into our household. I expected more jealousy and tantrum from P and K, but they are truly the best big sisters. P especially. She changes diapers, burps, feeds, and entertains. I wouldn't have any time without her.
I would probably do best to arrange the rest of the thoughts in a list kind of way.
-I have had a lot of people ask about the doll heads for the clothespin tutorial. I found these in what I call the wood aisle of Hobby Lobby. The same place the wooden dowels, letters, and unpainted doll house stuff is.
-Am I the only one who has an unhealthy addiction to That 70's Show? My new late night hours have made me an addict. Great lines like, "We are a team. That means you do everything I tell you to.". Also. I am loving Flash Forward. Great way to pass the time until LOST comes back in January.
-I have skipped Halloween crafting and skipped right to Christmas. This makes me a little sad because I love Halloween, but just don't have the time.
-I think I want to start a quilting bee. Like one of the ones where each month a member sends fabric and instructions for a couple of blocks to all the other members and they mail it back. In the end you have a bunch of blocks from various quilters in your theme to make into a quilt. Any interest? I think it would start in January if there is.
-I haven't attempted to reply to all my comments. I got behind and catching up is so daunting. Will reply to all of them from now on.
Great. I have had most of this on my mind for awhile and it feels good to get it down.
Now to the crafty stuff.
I haven't had tons of crafty time, but Miss Finley has finally gotten into a schedule and I have crafty time again! Yay!
I made this to go in one of the girls' rooms at the new house. This is the first time I have framed an embroidery with the hoop. I really like it!
The new house is coming along great. All the walls have been given a first coat, the trim guy is working his magic, and the porches have been poured. We are planning on being in it for the new year. I can't wait!
Have a great day ya'll!

I know how hard it is to get back to "normal" after having a baby! Take your time! This stitchery looks so cute! How did you get her hair to look like it is in a spiral on the left side? (In the picture left). Thanks for all the great ideas on your blog! My neice will love the clothespin dolls for Christmas! Did you have a problem getting the heads onto the clothespins? Mine won't fit unless I sand the pin down a little. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks April

What a beauty - and the embroidery is adorable. I would write more, but I have to get the kids fed and into bed before Flash Forward...

Hi, found your blog through Craft Hope-this actually Carin from Margaret's Hope Chest-the current Craft Hope project-anyway....I first want to say I thought it quite funny that your blog was in list format because after I had my 4th baby last year I could only blog in lists for like 2 months-funny. Second, I have always wanted to do one of those quilting bees like you mentioned so please let me know if you do it-i'm in!
