These past two months have been (as usual) incredibly crazy around here. We finally seem to have settled into the house and have a somewhat normal daily routine going. I have been wanting to blog for awhile, but when I went to do so discovered that my hard drive was crashed. It was fairly low on the priority list for a while but finally, on July 4th, we got it fixed.
Decorating is going well. We aren't done, but we are getting there. Some family members threw us a housewarming shower this weekend. It was a lot of work to get ready for, but we thoroughly enjoyed showing our friends & family around & receiving gifts. (Let's admit it, that's the best part!) I needed 2 days to recover! I hope to have more pictures of the house to show in the next month.
The girls are doing great. Paige turned 8 on me last month and we had a slumber and skating party. Kelsey had kindergarten orientation and is dying to go to school. Finley has turned into the kind of holy terror only babies can get away with, but she's cute so we'll keep her :)
They seem to like being little country girls. They play in the mud, ride four wheelers, and harass whoever is working out here on any given day. They helped some of Brice's guys clean mud out of a trench. Just normal stuff. I love that they stay outdoors all the time, and I especially love not having to worry about them getting in the street.
I'm finally starting to get my crafting mojo back. It has been gone for the better part of the year! I have been trying to do a little every day. It makes me very happy. I have joined some swaps and will be sure to blog about them soon.
