The past few days have been really crazy. For some reason our whole family breaks down in case of sickness. Kelsey came down with a nasty stomachbug Thursday and we have been lazing around with her. It looked a lot like this..
Well, someone did decide to get a little crafty, and it wasn't me.
I think it is finally over and I am so glad, because it is supposed to snow this weekend. I know it has snowed every year I have blogged, but it is still quite a novelty around these parts.
The past few days while taking care of Kelsey I haven't been sewing or sleeping very much. Today my Dad came by and the baby was asleep. I snuck off to the sewing room and got quite a bit done.
I worked on 2 Not Quite String Block Blocks.
I made 2 of these. From this pattern.
I would to make a king sized quilt with that patten for my bed. Maybe this can be an ongoing project. Who am I kidding? I think they are all "ongoing".
Also started my Birdie Stitches Block of the Month. These are really fun. can't wait to see all the months.

Good to hear she is feeling better. It is really horrible to be inside and sick when there is snow outside!

So sorry to hear you are all not feeling great, we went through that in December.
Are you able to tell me the designer of the embroidery pattern on the left of your final photo on this post as my daughter is loving it and I would like to purchase it so I can stitch it too.
