The Christmas season is in full swing around here. We have our tree up and our elf has come back for the holidays. This is my favorite time of the year and I am going to make a huge effort to enjoy it. Last year it was just a bit too busy.
Ii have been working on stockings for the family. My two favorite so far are Brice's and Kelsey's.
On the homeschool front, we are finally into winter break. This is a breakdown of what my kids have learned so far:
1. 50 states and capitals and where to locate them on a blank map
2. 12 history facts
3. 12 science facts, such as what the endocrine system does
4. latin!! Including John 1:1-3 in latin
5. the Presidents in order
6. I learned how to play Mary has a little lamb on the tin whistle!!
7. 96 timeline cards
8. John 1:1-7 in English
And so much more! This is what makes the homeschooling rewarding. The sheer amount of things they can recite or tell you about, is absolutely amazing. This doesn't even include the things we learn in the Essentials class. Paige can diagram sentences like a pro! Her writing is also very much improved.
I am so excited to have time for craftiness, and I'm sure I'll be back soon.
Have a great day y'all!

Welcom back to blogging! Your pretties have been missed!! :)
Love your stockings. I think I would have homeschooled in another life. :)
